Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes
By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Name two aspects in determining boundaries.
-Discuss one method regarding therapist nonverbal behavior .
-Explain one method in assessing ethical considerations related to the use of touch.
-Explain some areas that the NASW, AAMFT, NBCC, and APA Codes of Ethics agree upon regarding the setting of clear and ethical boundaries with clients.
